Through all Seasons

Emboss Resist Technique
Blockheads Challenge

Hi Everyone
I decided to use my winning blog candy stamp for this challenge
 ~ thanks Blockheads ~

I started off by cutting out a piece of white cardstock big enough for
my stamp image.
Using Versamark I inked up my stamp and stamped it out, and then
sprinkled with clear embossing powder.  Cleared away excess and heat set.

I then coloured the background using brilliance ink, by dabbing the
edge of a sponge into the ink and rubbing over the image.
I wet the tip of a clean sponge and brushed slightly over
the embossed image to remove any ink.

I then cut out a piece of black cardstock slightly bigger than
my image, adhered with double sided tape.  Next I cut out cardstock
to match the colours on the stamped image, again cutting a piece
of black card slightly bigger and sticking together.  But before doing
this I edged the coloured card with Silver Deco Metallic Marker Pen.

Choosing ribbon of a co-ordinating colour,
I stuck it to the bigger card and then mounted on my
stamped image

To finish off I stuck on gemstones, season embleshment
and finally punched out a whole in the top left corner
of my tag and thread through the fibre, again matching up the
colours to suite

Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad Colours :-
Peacock - Spring / Aurora - Summer
Mineral - Autumn / Twilight - Winter
