"Embossed Paper" Blockheads Challenge

~* Woohoo - thank you.  I'm thrilled to have won ~*
The card is dedicated in loving memory
to my precious Daddy
"Happy Father's Day"
for Sunday 17th June 2012

This is my handmade
"Embossed Toilet Paper Technique Challenge"

This is my first project made using embossed Toilet Paper of all things......!
It was very quick to do.  The only slow part was waiting for the paper to dry.
I'm however going to take the easy route now
and link you direct to Leigh's instructions,
as I did pretty much exactly what she did....
yes I even ended up with the
colour pink showing through after spritzing,
so like her, I just dabbed on some more distress ink
to cover it up.  (thanks for the tip Leigh).
I will definitely give this technique another go, and emboss
a few sheets at a time of different designs.  I don't have
my own cuttlebug, so next time I visit my Mom,
I will have to remember to take along my own toilet roll.... LOL ;-0)

  1. A wonderful card, love the colouring and design! A nice tribute to Dad!

    1. Thanks Mom. It was just one of those cards that all came together perfectly. I was pleased that the spots on the embossed paper, complimented the spots on the leopard. I'm sure it's a card, Dad would have loved ;-)

  2. WOW OH WOW!!! I absolutely LOVE it!! Well done, it really turned out great and Daddy would have loved it ;0) Thanks for playing with us in the Blockheads' ETP Technique Challenge!

  3. Ohhh. Love how that cheetah works with the circles embossing folder. It really makes a great combo. Pretty sure that I have a cheetah stamp in my stash. Great idea and thanks for sharing with us at the Blockheads Technique Challenge.

  4. This is a fabulous creation. Love the variations in the colors and those great embellishments!

  5. This is stunning and I'm sure your Dad would love it! Great background! Thanks for playing with us in the Blockheads Textured Paper With Embossing Folders Technique Challenge!
